In Georgia right now. Not sure how riding in a car makes you far more exhausted then actually packing stuff up, but it does.

Woo, nearly all our stuff is packed away, in a hotel room, waiting to finish a few things and then we’ll be on the road tomorrow. <3 Yessss.

I still don’t get why the GI traveling through the timeline both torn him completely apart and left him w/ the same shell for a body and obviously with his memories intact. Meanwhile Clara moving through the timeline not only created copies of her that appeared to be born to actual families, who didn’t have any recollection of who they were or what their mission was (and a semblance of...

With all this speculation about Clara- Where is the assumption that she knows all the information about her other lives from? I remember her saying that sometimes it feels like she’s lived and died thousands of times, but that doesn’t mean she actually consciously remembers it. It could have just been a fleeting experience as she fell through the timeline. I’d be really shocked...

P.S. From now on my Moffat criticisms and rants will be tagged “doesn’t he look tired” Although really, I’m not going to even start in on it right now because at this point if I did I’d probably never shut up. I’d like to maintain a shred of the love I have for the series and taking the time to point out the multitudes of flaws is kind of killing that for me.

burntlikethesun: laughs hysterically it’s been almost 4 years and we still don’t know how or why the silence decided to blow up the TARDIS in S5 by doing that they almost destroyed every reality… which was what they were trying to stop the GI from doing

the-pandorica-is-a-fairytale: Just seen the DW finale… and all I can say is… it’s disappointing and it’s very typical of Moffat. He never explained what made the TARDIS blow in Series 5, he never explained who the woman in the shop was, and many others. _|_ Also, all his massive clues until now. “Silence will fall when the question is asked” “The First Question, the oldest...

The Doctor’s sanity has always been a bit questionable, but Eleven seems far more broken than the others. I worry about him. I miss the Doctor before he was shattered and I wonder if we’ll ever see that version again or if we’re heading into Valeyard territory. Not sure what I’ll do if the Doctor stops being the brave, daring hero all together.

Okay, and this is just like, a tiny taste of some of the issues with this ep: [[MORE]] 1. If the GI destroyed the Doctor through every point in time then the Doctor would have never become his enemy and thus the GI would have never had a reason to go to Trenzalore. - Paradox. 2. If Clara had never been in victorian London and mentioned the frozen pond to the Doctor he would have continued in...

nerdiosity replied to your post: The more I look at this episode the more I realize… You are making me glad that I am only in season 5. It was pretty good while watching it. But then of course I started thinking (a dangerous pastime, I know) and honestly, I could probably write a book with everything I find issue with. :/ Clara was amazing though. She’s a really lovely companion....

The more I look at this episode the more I realize it’s just the same predestined, paradoxical nonsense with character mistreatment, ignoring of canon, inconsistencies, and plot holes. Someone stop me before I manage to completely loathe the finale.

P.S. DO NOT MENTION RIVER TO ME RIGHT NOW BECAUSE MOFFAT FUCK YOU AT LEAST I COULD HAVE PRETENDED HER IN UNIVERSE SELF WAS HAPPY WITH WHAT HAPPENED EVEN THOUGH MY META AND HEADCANON SAID OTHERWISE AND THEN YOU SAY THAT AND THEN THE DOCTOR ACTS LIKE A SELFISH ASS. “I DON’T KNOW HOW TO SAY GOODBYE” BULLSHIT. “TALKING TO YOU WOULD MAKE ME SAD” YEAH WELL TOO FUCKING BAD...

Actually wait no, I take that back about the stars.  Unless the Doctor defeated a star eating race of aliens or something, then there would probably just be a bunch of desolate and destroyed planets, but the stars would still be shining. I mean, the stars going out made some sense in JE and TBB but I dunno here, here it seems for the melodrama. Hmmm.

There were some issues in this episode, including things like character treatment and some plot holes and inconsistencies but I actually enjoyed quite a lot of it. It also made me cry a lot but that could be because I kept getting that every song must end vibe and no, shush, The Doctor lives forever. Also even in a vague sense I don’t like the fact that Moffat decided he died on said...

My dad forgot to call the moving people on Friday to tell them to pick up the cubes early and they are closed today. So we’re leaving while the cubes will still be outside. Yes, fantastic, because I’m sure all our worldly possessions will be completely safe in a neighborhood where even the kids steal stuff off your porch and when you call them on it just say “Why? I want...

We aren’t even finished loading the moving cubes, we don’t have groceries for the trip, we haven’t got the house finished cleaned, but oh yes let’s go spend a huge chunk of our day, not to mention money on tolls, to visit grandma. Bloody brilliant idea that is.
